Guest Editors: Prof. Haifeng Wang (The Queen's University of Belfast, Belfast, UK) and Prof. Ping Ju (Hehai University, Nanjing, China)

We are pleased to announce that suitable, expanded papers in the area of renewable power generation presented at the conference will be eligible for consideration in a dedicated special issue of IET Renewable Power Generation; an international, peer reviewed journal from the IET. This journal, launched in March 2007 is under consideration for inclusion in Thomson Reuters’ SCI-E database and is already available in the EI and Inspec databases. Edited by Prof. David Infield of the University of Strathclyde, the journal is already a principal forum for research in this burgeoning field.

Authors of conference papers that are considered suitable for consideration in the 2009 Special Issue will receive a formal invitation to submit, no later than April 30th 2009. Details on how to submit your extended paper/s etc will also be provided at this time.

A copy of IET Renewable Power Generation will be available as part of the delegate pack.
